The high resolution 11.4-inch driver display is shaped by driver research and data. Its layout reflects where your eyes go first, what you need fastest and what helps you stay focused. 

The display sits close to the windscreen to reduce eye and head movement. The left side focuses on driving information, with key details shown in consistent places, such as speed and the status of driver support features like Pilot Assist. This makes them easy to find and each glance feel more natural. The right side shows notifications and functions connected with the centre display, such as turn by turn navigation.

Choose from three views on the driver display, each designed for a different kind of drive. They bring forward what matters most to help you stay focused on the road.

Map puts navigation front and centre with turn-by-turn guidance. Surround reveals nearby vehicles and driver support features for greater awareness in traffic. Calm pares things back to the essentials for a quieter, more focused experience.

Key information stays in the same place across all driver display views, so switching never breaks your flow. Your chosen setup saves to your profile, ready to greet you when you step inside.

Consistent tapping area

The 15.04-inch centre display puts you in command – without commanding your attention. Its landscape format places key controls within easy reach, so tapping feels natural and predictable.

The screen is divided into clear sections that keep interaction areas consistent. Your phone shortcut is pinned in the lower left for quick access. Climate controls stay fixed in the bottom menu bar, always in view. Apps and widgets remain in familiar places, whether one or several are open. This layout builds muscle memory so you can act instinctively instead of searching.

OLED technology delivers deep blacks and crisp contrast, keeping icons clear in bright sun or at night. Behind the visuals, powerful core computing makes every tap immediate. No lag, no waiting.

Shortcuts that adapt to context

Contextual shortcuts appear in the side bar of the centre display only when they’re relevant. They adapt to what the car is doing to keep the screen focused and uncluttered.

Settle in on a chilly morning, and the defroster icons are there waiting. Start driving, and one pedal drive appears automatically. Shift into reverse, and the mirror-tilt buttons pop up just as you need them. Each prompt feels natural, as if the car already knows your next move.

Connect with your phone

Your EX60 fits naturally around your life, connecting with the devices you already use. From warming your seat before you step inside to sending a destination from your phone, it all moves in one smooth flow.

Digital Key Plus
Set up your digital key once and leave the physical one at home. Your iPhone, Apple Watch or Android device becomes the key. It unlocks the doors as you walk up and lets you drive away by simply selecting a gear. Share access via your digital wallet and revoke it anytime.

Personal profile
Your EX60 recognises you as you approach. Not just anyone. Once inside, it loads settings from your personal profile automatically. Seat position, mirrors, climate and infotainment adjust to your saved preferences, so every drive starts just the way you like it.

Remote functions
Warm the cabin before a frosty school run, cool it before a trip to the beach or purify the air while you make breakfast. The app shows battery, range and charging progress. It can even show the air quality inside the car.

Software updates and support
Keep your car at its best without a workshop visit. Improvements and updates are delivered over the air. Need help? Call or chat with customer support directly in the app.

Features may not be available in all markets or for all models and may not be available until a later date. Remote functions may not be available when the vehicle has been parked for an extended period.

Pause a song on your phone and pick it up from the same chorus in the car. Start a podcast at home and let it continue on the centre display. Your accounts stay in sync between your device and the car.

Turn waiting into watching
A charging stop becomes a chance to stream a film or catch up on a series. Apps like YouTube and Prime Video are available on Google Play, so downtime feels like a pause you’ll enjoy.

The EX60 is built around sound as much as sight and touch. Speakers are integrated into the cabin as part of the design to create a balanced stage that feels rich from every seat.

Apple Music and Dolby Atmos
Apple Music is available for easy access to your playlists and albums. When paired with the Bowers & Wilkins sound system, you can enjoy tracks mixed in Dolby Atmos with brilliant spatial detail.

Plan your route and charging

Add a coffee stop or a scenic detour and your route updates instantly with new charging options and an adjusted range. Google Maps provides live traffic updates to keep you on track.

Seamless navigation with Google Gemini
When you’re signed in with a Google Account, you can share your planned route directly with Gemini. Just say “Hey Google, share my ETA with my mum and apologise for being late,” or “find a good taco place with a charging station nearby.” Gemini brings apps, navigation and messaging together seamlessly.

Smooth charging stops
See stations along your route and filter by speed, price or payment type. The system recommends stops based on your remaining range, so you’re never left guessing when to charge. 

Manage it all from the app
Set a new destination in the Volvo Cars app and send it to your car. Check range, add a stop and your route appears on the centre display when you get in. You can pre-warm the cabin and ready the battery, so everything’s set when you are.
