Set the time of departure using a timer in the car's centre display. The car's fan then starts prior to departure, to ventilate and lower the temperature in the passenger compartment. Pre-ventilation can last up to 20 minutes.

After driving, and whilst remaining in the car, the "Ventilation Interior, software" can also be used to maintain the car's internal climate for up to 15 minutes. The system then uses the car's fan system with or without residual heat from the engine.

A reversible seat protection in durable material designed for the front seats of the car. The front and rear sides of the protection have different properties: one side consists of durable, woven fabric with high comfort and the other side has a water-repellent function. It is easy to dock your iPad® in the iPad® holder and all wiring is carefully integrated in the front seat. In addition to iPad® charging, the head restraint kit with charging, with USB cable, also allows simultaneous charging of, for example, a telephone thanks to two USB ports per head restraint.

With a digital interior rear view mirror you have a rear view mirror that shows a wider view of what is happening behind your car.

The digital interior rear view mirror has a camera linked to it, which is fitted at the rear of your car and which then displays the image in the rear view mirror. If the camera is not needed for all situations then the mirror can also be used as a traditional rear view mirror with a standard reflected view. It is easy to switch between the two settings, camera function and mirror function.

The digital interior rear view mirror makes your driving more comfortable in the dark by controlling reflections from flashing or strong light from vehicles behind you.

The camera shows three times as much view behind the car as a traditional rearview mirror does and also makes it possible for you to see even if visibility is obscured by the contents of the cargo area or rear seat passengers.

The images show what the rear view mirror looks like when the camera is activated and deactivated. Image 1 shows when the camera is activated (wider angle view) and the other image shows when the camera is deactivated (standard reflected view).

Keep your rear camera free of dirt and dust with Volvo's practical washer.

Simply pressing the button on the right-hand stalk switch for the rear windscreen washer activates the wash, cleaning the rear view camera lens quickly and effectively, whether the car is stationary or moving. Since it is integrated with the car's rear windscreen water system, the rear camera lens is cleaned every time you wash the rear windscreen.

With regular use, the washer helps maintain good visibility through the rear view camera, making reversing easier.

The rear camera washer is supplied as a complete kit with camera nozzle, tailgate handle, Y-connector, hose and cable tie.

An electrically foldable door mirror, with autodimming, which makes narrow gaps easier and reduces intrusive light reflection from cars behind.

Autodimming is connected to the dimming in the interior rear view mirror and they have a common sensor located on the interior rear view mirror.

If the car has an electric adjustable driver's seat with memory function, the door mirror with memory function folds down automatically when reverse gear is engaged. This helps you, for example, see how close to the edge of the pavement you are when reversing into a parking space.

Via the car settings function you can select to have the door mirrors fold in automatically when you lock the car.

Pressing both door mirror buttons retracts the door mirrors in against the sides of the car so that they do not cause an obstruction.

The frameless rearview mirror has an elegant and modern design, which enhances and harmonises with the freshness of the interior. The mirror is equipped with the wireless HomeLink® system.

The HomeLink® system enables you to control multiple remote controlled home devices, for example, to open and close the garage door and to switch the house alarm system on and off. The HomeLink® buttons are discretely integrated into the rearview mirror, which also has automatic dimming.

The anti-glare rear view mirror automatically dims out disturbing light from cars behind. A very practical accessory when driving in the dark.

A dashcam allows you to save nice memories from a trip and gives you an extra pair of eyes on what is happening in front of and behind your car. If something happens while driving, the camera can supply reliable documentation in video format about the event. You can also use the camera to take snapshots via voice control, a practical way of documenting interesting moments during the journey.

The dashcam is located in the top section of the windscreen and can be supplemented with a camera in the rear windscreen. Recording between the two cameras is synchronised and gives good picture quality even in poor light. The dashcam can be set so that it is automatically activated every time you start the car. It can also be controlled via the voice command, which means that you can focus on driving while also taking snapshots for fun or documentation.

The dashcam has built-in storage of up to 32 GB, equivalent to approx. 3.5 hours' recording. If required, the storage can easily be increased by an extra class 10 micro SD card. When the memory is full, the camera starts to overwrite the oldest recordings, apart from photos that have been taken and events triggered by the G sensor. Using the local Wi-Fi hotspot, the camera can be synchronised with the relevant DVR On Road app. Settings such as local language can be changed in the app and it is also possible to view recorded material directly in your smartphone. The DVR On Road app is free and available for both iPhone and Android.

Volvo's tablet holder allows you to ergonomically use your iPad® or Samsung® Tablet in the rear seat. Take your tablet with you in the car and enjoy its functions and apps while you travel. The holder can be set to both portrait and landscape views. Angle the holder to the desired position, listen to music, watch a video, read email or surf the web. Volvo's tablet holder makes all of this possible.

Installing the tablet holder onto your head restraint is a simple operation. All you need to do is to fit the bracket to your head restraint and then attach the holder. Then you can easily dock your iPad® or Samsung® Tablet into the holder.

Can only be used in combination with a protective case in hardwearing material that protects your tablet against wear, provides additional anti-slip protection and perfect positioning. Must be used with the enclosed screen protector. The protective case is ordered separately.

The running board is mainly made of strong aluminium for the lowest possible weight and high strength, which can withstand 300 kg. To reduce the risk of slipping on the running board, rubber anti-slip protection is integrated in the metal section. The running board replaces the car's standard fitted sill mouldings.

The bike rack has a forward holder with a quick-fit mount, making it easy to secure your bicycles. Two handles make the quick-fit mount quick to adjust for any type of fork.

The load carriers can hold up to two pairs of kayak holders depending on the car model. The kayak holder is secured in the lock holders with the supplied lock, reducing the risk of theft. The safety net is fitted in the rear roof mountings and the load-lashing loops behind the second seat row's backrests in order to prevent cargo from moving forward into the passenger area. The net can also be fitted behind the front seats when the rear seat is lowered. The net is then fitted in the front roof mountings and the anchor loops in the rails for the front seats.

Very simple and fast installation using existing fittings and mountings.

A high quality, reversible protective mat. The mat is practical and waterproof, with tufted fabric on one side and plastic on the other.

The mat has an attractive design with scalloped edges. The textile is colour-coded to match the rest of the interior.

The mat is available in two versions: a mat for a 5-seater car and a two-part mat for 6-seater and 7-seater cars. The mat for 6-seater and 7-seater cars can be used with the third row of seats in both the raised and the lowered position. In the raised position, the front part of the mat is easily removed from the car.

A practical dirt cover with different pockets for the child's toys, which protects the car's upholstery from dirt and stains while the child is sitting in the child seat.

The kick guard is sufficiently long to protect the entire seat when the child is seated rear facing. It can also be used to protect the rear of the front seat when the child is seated front-facing in the rear seat.

Padded upholstery for cars equipped with integrated booster cushion. The upholstery has side support that gives the child a comfortable and safe car journey, while at the same time the car's original upholstery is kept clean. It is made of strong high quality fabric and consists of three parts that combine into one complete unit. The side supports can be easily removed prior to washing by means of a Zip.

Cushion upholstery
The upholstery is easily pulled over the raised booster cushion and is removed when you need to fold it down. The bottom edge of the upholstery has a dirt cover in vinyl plastic that protects the rear seat's original upholstery.

Backrest upholstery
Integrated side support improves comfort and keeps the child securely in place. The upholstery is installed around the standard head restraints and attached at the lower rear section of the backrest.

Head restraint upholstery
A head support that is easily fitted over the standard head restraints in the rear seat and which is attached with Velcro fasteners. Integrated foam pads at the sides give comfortable support and keep the child's head in place while resting.

Comfortable dog harness that is secured directly into the car's seatbelt with a quick link. The padded and comfortable harness keeps the dog still in the rear seat.

A loose dog in the car is a danger in the event of heavy braking, both for passengers and other road users. Therefore, a dog cage should be used in the load compartment. However, if this is not possible, then this dog harness is a good alternative for use in the rear seat.

The harness is easy to use and easy to detach from the seat belt. The flexible design makes the harness practical and useful even outside the car, such as a walking, tracking or free motion harness.

The dog harness is available in four sizes.

Protects the engine, oil sump and transmission from impacts when driving in poor conditions, for example, if the road is bumpy or potholed. Fully enclosing aluminium plate that also prevents impacts from loose stones.

The protective plate has been thoroughly tested to ensure sustainability in the event of more powerful impacts. The plate does not create any noise and this is verified by the engine being cooled correctly.

A snow chain specially developed for several tyre dimensions. This type of snow chain has the advantage of not being fitted on the inside of the tyre and so does not take up the space required by larger tyres.

In sudden slippery conditions, the sock is easy to mount on the wheel, providing increased friction on snow and ice. It takes up little storage space and can be reused.

The snow sock is made of a high-tech fibre material, the fibres of which are roughened during use in order to provide optimal grip. The material is both strong and resilient to further increase the wheel's contact area with hard snow and ice.

The snow sock is ordered in pairs and is used on the two driving wheels. It can be used on both summer and winter tyres, with or without studs. The sock is also suitable for cars with narrow wheel housings and it does not damage the wheel rims.

"Alcohol lock software" is software that makes it possible to activate a connected alcohol lock device that interacts with the car's functions. A car that is equipped with an alcohol lock system will then not be possible to start if the air exhaled by the driver contains alcohol above the permitted limits. Through the integration with the car's functions, you also get instructions and messages directly in the car's centre display such as, for example, when the car will be able to be started.

This allows you to receive instructions and messages from the alcohol lock in the car's centre display. This may be information such as that the engine is ready to start or that you need to take a breath test.

A smaller, lighter key tag for cars equipped with keyless locking and unlocking.

This Key Tag works in the same way as a regular remote control key for keyless locking and unlocking. With this smaller remote control key, you as a car owner do not have to carry your regular remote control key as it is just as easy to unlock doors, tailgate and fuel filler flap with the smaller one. The smaller size of the key makes it ideal to take with you during sports activities as it neither takes up space nor weighs much.

The key is waterproof to a depth of 10 metres for up to 60 minutes making it ideal to carry with you during water activities. As the key does not have a detachable key blade or buttons, you do not have to worry about it getting damaged under water or during other sports activities.

A roof tent with a soft shell, tried and tested for Volvo cars with rails and Volvo's load carriers. The tent has room for 2-3 people.

The flat floor and plush mattress make a cosy place to sleep. The tent is equipped with a panoramic window, making you feel like you're close to nature, and with the way the tent is positioned on the car's roof, you can enjoy a high and unrestricted view with full privacy. The design with outward angled walls makes for a roomy interior with a roof height of 102 cm and plenty of space for people and equipment. The window is easy to open and fasten for airing and the mosquito net will keep the insects out.

The tent canopy is made from polyester with ripstop strengthening, a two-dimensional structure where thicker fibre is woven into thinner fabric, making the fabric more resilient and with less risk of rips spreading. The fabric is water-repellent and has sealed seams, designed to work in all seasons. The tent also comes with a removal rainfly.

The tent is transported in a rainproof cover on the roof and fastens easily and securely to the roof rack with lockable mounting brackets, thus reducing the risk of theft. The ladder is stored under the cover, with the rainfly on top and the mattress stays in the tent, so you don't lose any of your car's cargo area.

Fitting the tent on the roof rack is easy and only takes a few minutes. Unfolding the tent is also quick. Open and remove the travel cover, then using the ladder, unfold the floor and the tent will automatically unfold.

The tent should be stored in an upright or horizontal position in a dry, cool place, preferably on something soft and away from direct sunlight. The tent should be cleaned before storing.

The roof tent has gone through very rigorous climate, temperature, wind and rain testing, as well as crash tests.

Charging of the car is monitored by two-way communication between the car and the control box. When the cable is connected to the power source, self-test diagnostics are performed to ensure that the cable is properly connected and is ready to supply the car with power. Charging is done via a Mode 2 type charging cable.

A 7 metre charging cable is useful in situations when you cannot park the car near a charging point.

Throttle response has been calibrated to respond more quickly to driver commands - something that gives higher precision and better feel.

The automatic gearbox changes gear more quickly to both improve acceleration and better respond to the driver's commands, e.g. downshifts before overtaking.

Better gear precision and gear hold¹
The gears have also been calibrated to exploit the engine's improved midrange performance. The gearbox also avoids changes when cornering at high g-forces (where possible) for better stability.

Faster gear and engine response¹
The engine and gearbox have been calibrated to respond more quickly when the driver releases the accelerator. This makes the car more balanced and predictable when cornering for example.

Increased engine performance
We have concentrated the power where it is needed most - in the midrange; perfect for overtaking or when on a busy motorway. Combined with faster throttle response and gear changes, this makes the car significantly more dynamic to drive.

Engine power is not increased for some engine variants. Check with your dealer for what applies to your car.
